FAQs
Common Questions (Wallet, Staking, Topi AI Access)
This section addresses common questions related to U-topia's core features—including U-Wallet, U-Coin staking, and Topi AI.
Is U-Wallet custodial or non-custodial?
U-Wallet uses a self-custodial smart contract architecture. Users retain control of their assets while the wallet abstracts away key management, gas fee handling, and network switching.
What networks are supported?
U-Wallet currently supports Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum, with support for additional EVM-compatible chains in the roadmap.
How do I stake $U-Coin?
Navigate to the staking portal via the U-topia dashboard or Topi AI, select the amount to stake, choose a lock duration (15–90 days), and confirm the transaction.
What are the APYs for staking $U-Coin?
15 days → 10% APY
30 days → 12% APY
60 days → 15% APY
90 days → 18% APY
Post-lock, tokens continue earning at 5% APY until manually unstaked.
Is there a penalty for early unstaking?
Yes. Early exits incur a 50% penalty on both staked principal and accumulated rewards. A 7-day cool-off period applies to early withdrawals; post-lock unstaking has a 24-hour cool-off.
How do I view my staking rewards?
You can track staking balances and rewards in real-time via the U-topia dashboard or through Topi AI using the /staking-summary command.
How do I use Topi AI?
Do I need a Telegram account?
Yes. Topi AI is natively deployed as a Telegram bot to ensure mobile-first accessibility and frictionless use.
Is Topi AI free to use?
Base access is free. Premium insights and deeper analytics may require staking $U-Coin or holding a minimum threshold of tokens to unlock additional tiers of functionality.
